Jerzy Sypek
Jerzy Sypek (born January 31, 1934 in Nowy Targ) is a Polish politician, activist of the United Workers' Party of Poland, in the years 1985-1989 the first secretary of the PZPR Częstochowa. Curriculum vitae
Born on 31 January 1934 in Nowy Targ, son of Piotr and Clara. From 19 February 1952, activist of the Polish United Workers' Party. In 1950 he completed one-year evening political school of the Polish Youth Union. He was secretary of economic affairs (8.12.1980 - 30.06.1984) and a member of the executive (8.12.1980 - 11.12.1989) KW PZPR in Czestochowa. In 1982 he completed his two-week course at the Higher Party School in Moscow at the CPSU Central Committee. From July 1, 1984, the secretary, and since December 5, 1985 the first secretary of the KW in Czestochowa. He served until December 11, 1989. On 3 July 1986 he entered as a member of the Central Commission for Control and Auditing at the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party. In 1987 he completed a nine-week course at the Academy of Social Sciences at the CPSU Central Committee in Moscow.
