Javier López (ur 1975)
Javier López López (born 29 August 1975 in Lugo) is a Spanish football coach.
López comes from the city of Lugo in Galicia and as a junior coached in the local club CD Lugo. At the age of 17 he was forced to finish his football career due to serious injury. Immediately after, he started working as a trainer for the next seven years training junior Lugo. Also in January 2000, after the departure of coach Fabrie, he temporarily led a meeting in the third league senior squad. He has been one of the most valued junior football coaches in Spain, working mainly in youth academies.
In 2008, López went to Mexico, where in 2008-2009 he worked as a sports director of a group of local football schools operating under the aegis of Real Madrid. At the same time, he led the ABA Anáhuac quadratic Mexican team. In 2009-2012 he worked at Atlante FC as a trainer and coordinator of the junior academy of this team in the capital city of Mexico, training the Atlante quarter reserve Potros de Hierro. He later returned to Spain, where in the years 2013-2015 he was general manager of the Centro de Alto Rendimiento Professional Center in A Coruña.
In 2015, López became coach of the third-party reserve of the Mexican club Cimarrones de Sonora. A few months later, in September 2015, he temporarily replaced Jorge Humberto Torres as a training coach for the first Cimarrones team in the second division. He led it to the end of the season with a very poor result, having won a draw and seven defeats in eight matches, then left the team. Bibliography
