In the resurrection time

Michał Angel Buonarroti, Final Judgment (excerpt)

In the resurrection time - a poem by Bolesław Leśmian. The piece comes from the volume titanium drink, published in 1936, and belongs to the series Spojrzystość. The work tells us that during the final judgment there will be such bodies that will not want to be resurrected. The piece is ironic but also pathetic. The work is written in a jambic four-pointed, alternately eight-sided and nine-voiced, arranged in four-stroke verses, rhymed abab.

There is such a rot, which is enough It was horrifying in its dying! There is a bone so proud in the earth, What will be against - resurrection!
