Eumorphus tetraspilotus


Eumorphus tetraspilotus - a species of beetle from the family of aquatic insects and subfamily Lycoperdininae.

The species was described in 1832 by Frederick William Hope.

Beetle with a length of 11 to 14 mm, with a dark violet-black top, in not fully stained purple specimens. Tight legs, eighth member of one and a half times longer than the top of the broad. Lids with two small, round, yellow spots on each of which the front is separated from the seam by its length. Tightening of the lid poorly and bluntly ribbed, narrow at the height of the shoulders. The uniform is dark. Male with forelegs looking twisted and with upwardly arched toes, moderately arched and moderately arcuate.

The species is known from northern and eastern Borneo, Sumatra, Singapore, the Malaysian states of Perak and Johor and Thailand.
