Asenata

Asenata - a biblical Egyptian female name, probably signifying "the one belonging to his father."

In the Bible, this name was worn by the Egyptian wife of Joseph, the son of the patriarch of Jacob, mentioned in Genesis (41, 50). In most of the Polish translations of the Bible, this name is given as Asenat (without "-a" at the end), but in Poland (due to the rarity and expectation of officials) a more explicit form of sex was adopted.

Zdrobnienia: Ase, Asa, Asenatka.
