Andrzej Włodarek
José João Altafini (born July 24, 1938 in Piracicaba) - Brazilian footballer, middle striker. World Champion 1958. Representative of two countries: Brazil and Italy. The third most effective Serie A shooter in history along with Giuseppe Meazza (they scored 216 goals).
In Brazil he played in several clubs, including Palmeiras São Paulo. He was a player of this club during the final tournament of World Championships 58, where he played in the first three matches of canarinhos. He used the name Mazzola, associated with the legendary footballer AC Torino Valentino Mazzola. The place in the first team was taken away from him by Pelé, but Altafini and his team could celebrate the first title for Brazil. In total, in the Brazilian national team he scored 4 goals in 8 matches.
After World Championships 58, Altafini moved to Italy, to the Milan A.C. Milan, where in 1958 - 1965 he played 205 matches and scored 120 goals. He won the Italian championship twice (1959, 1962), and in 1963 also the Champions Cup. Then he played in SSC Napoli (180 matches, 71 goals), Juventus (74 matches, 25 goals), and ended his career in Switzerland (FC Chiasso and Mendrisio Stabio). With the Turin club he won two more championship titles in 1973 and 1975. In the Italian national team in the years 1961 - 1962 he played 6 matches (including two at the World Championships 62), scoring 5 goals. Art Monuments in Poland.
