Alfredo Neri - Italian boxer, bronze medalist of the European Championship of 1934. Career

In April 1934 he won the bronze medal at the European Championship, in the middle category. In the quarterfinals of the tournament he beat Rumun's Ilie Petrescu points. In the semi-finals he lost to Poland's Witold Majchrzycki, succumbing to him for points. In the fight for the third place he beat the Austrian Fuehrer, winning the walkover.

In November 1934 he was also vice-champion of Italy in the middle category.
