Ludwik Walenty Stefaniak, CM (born March 23, 1930 in Przechów, March 9, 1972 in Bydgoszcz) is a Polish Catholic priest, member of the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Vincent de Paul, bible master and translator of the Holy Scriptures. > Curriculum vitae
To the Congregation of Fr. In 1947, he joined the Institute of Theology in Fr. Missionaries in Cracow and simultaneously at the Jagiellonian University. In 1952, he defended the Jagiellonian Magister's Master's Proclamation of Prayer in the Gospel of St John. Luke. He was ordained priest on 21 June 1953. In 1954, he became a doctor on the basis of the work of the Resurrection of Christ and of the faithful in the Epistles. Paul, written under the direction of Peter Stach. Since 1955 he was a lecturer at the ITKM in Cracow and a member of the editorial team of the "Bible and Liturgical Movement" (in 1955-1957 he was responsible for writing the New Testament, and then a member of the editorial board). He authored 190 passwords for the Biblical Encyclopaedia. In the years 1960-1961 he stayed for scientific purposes abroad. After returning to Poland he worked as a vicar in Bydgoszcz. In 1965 he began teaching lectures and opened habilitation habilitation at the University of Warsaw. Since 1969 he continued to face the objections of the authorities of the Polish People's Republic in the Catholic Theology Academy in Warsaw.
