Johannes Mau

Johannes Mau (born May 5, 1881 in Schleswig, February 1946 in Berlin) is a German politician, deputy to the Volkstag of Gdańsk.

In 1917 he joined the Independent Social-Democratic Party of Germany, and in November 1922 to the Social Democratic Party of Germany. In the years 1922-1936 he was the secretary of SPD for West Prussia and the Free City of Gdansk.

In the years 1919-1923 he was a councilor of Gdańsk, and in 1920-1937 he sat in the Volkstag. In August 1945 he was resettled from Gdansk and then lived in Berlin. Bibliography
