Kadriddin Aslonow

In 1969 he graduated from Tajik Institute of Agriculture and became foreman of mechanics in kolkhoz. II and later the first secretary of the Communist Party of Tajikistan (KPT) in Kolchozabad (now Wose). 1973-1983 President of the Regional Society for the Support of Production and Technical Farms in Kurgonteppie. 1983-1988 First secretary of the KPT Panda Regional Committee, 1988-1989 First Deputy of the Tajik State Agricultural Committee. In 1990 I was the deputy chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the SRR, from November 30, 1990 to September 23, 1991, chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the SRR. In holding this position, he signed the decree on Tajikistan's independence and a decree banning the activities of the Communist Party of Tajikistan and ordering the nationalization of its premises and property. He was elected to the Supreme Council of Tajikistan for 12 terms. In September 1991 he briefly served as president of Tajikistan; In this position, under the pressure of the anti-communist opposition, he signed an order to dismantle Lenin's monument in Dushanbe, and on 23 September, the supporters of the Communist Party organized a protest rally. The session of the newly-formed Tajik Parliament has decided to revoke the decrees banning the activities of the Communist Party and nationalize its assets and to abandon the dismantling of Lenin's monument.
