Jemima West


Jamima West (born August 11, 1987) is a British-French actress known for her role as Isabelle Lighwood in Angel's Gift: City of Bones. Childhood

Her father is an accountant and her mother is a translator. When Jemima was five years old they moved to Paris. She attended the Université Paris Sorbonne and completed her studies at the Faculty of Art History. In the evening, she learned acting. It is bilingual. She says she's completely English and she's more comfortable working in her mother tongue, but Paris is her home. Career Jamima debuted at the age of 12 in Joan of Arc directed by Luc Besson. Later, she starred in the short film I'm an actrice, as well as in King Wilhelm's Florence Foresti. Then you could see it in the series Ben et Thomas, Maison close, in the movie Tomorrow I'm Getting Married, La Morte Amoureuse, JC comme Jésus-Christ, Paradis criminel and Linhas de Wellington.

In 2013, she starred in Angel of the City: The City of Bones, a film adaptation of Angel's best-selling book Darya, playing Isabelle Lighwood, which brought her the greatest popularity. She played alongside Jamie Campbell Bower, Lily Collins and Robert Sheehan.

Later, she starred in the television series Indian Summers and the movie Heineken Kidnapping.
