Graduate of economics at the University of Osijek, as well as post-graduate studies in management at the same university. For over ten years she worked on the development and implementation of projects including using European funds. She was Director of the Department of Foreign and European Affairs in the administration of the Vukovsko-Srijem County and the President of the Regional Development Agency "Hrast"

In October 2016, on the recommendation of the Croatian Democratic Community, she took the position of Minister of Regional Development and European Funds Management in the government of Andrey Plenkovic.

Myrmex Indikos, pol. Indian ant - an alleged species of gigantic ants (according to Herodot's description, larger than foxes, but smaller than dogs). The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
