Christine Crawley
Christine Mary Crawley, baroness Crawley (born January 9, 1950 in Wicklow) is a British politician and teacher, Member of the European Parliament for the II, III and IV term, life seniors. Curriculum vitae
She was educated at a Catholic school for girls in Birmingham, then studied at Digby Stuart College at the University of Roehampton. She worked as a teacher and also ran a local youth theater. She was involved in political activities within the Labor Party and was a councilwoman for South Oxfordshire. She also served as chair of the advisory body of the Women's National Commission. In 1983 she successfully ran for the House of Commons.
From 1984 to 1999 she served as a member of the MEP, joining the socialist factions. Since 1984 she was vice chairwoman and later chairman of the Committee on Women until 1989.
In 1998, she received the title Baroness and as a living couple she sat in the House of Lords.
