Babi Potok
Rocky and Babe Feet Babe, which flows Babi Potok
Babi Potok - a stream, a tributary of the Pyszninský potok. It has a source at an altitude of 1780 m on the northern slopes of the Stony Rock Baba Nogi in the Western Tatras. It is the highest source in the whole Polish Tatras. There are numerous rocky outcrops in the trough, with small waterfalls on them. Within the trough, the trough is grafted in the accumulation material, where the stream often loses water. Below the stream flows down the deep channel between Babim Grzbiet and Dolinczańskie Ridge. It flows along the eastern side of the Lowlands of Polana and passes to the Pyszninsky Potok as its right tributary. This is at an altitude of 1205 m, at a location with coordinates 49 ° 12'51 "N 19 ° 51'16" E / 49.214167 19.854444. Just before the outlet, the stream loses water in the moraine and inlet, so that the estuary does not have surface dehydration.
It is a small stream. Its length is about 1.9 km, the average drop of 28.7%, the catchment area of 1,172 km.
The entire catchment area is located within the Pyszna Valley, on the inaccessible tourist area "Pyszna, Tomanowa, Pisana". A separate article: Tatra Streams.
