Dates of life unknown. He came from the poor family of Budzowski noble Pilawa from Budzów in the Sieradz province. He was a common soldier. In 1526, he became a royal captain, based on a letter of recommendation, a banner for the defense of the colony, which he remained for 12 years until 1544. In 1531 he took part in the expedition of hetman Jan Tarnowski on the penitentiary against the Moldavian hospodar. He fought in the battle of Obertyn. Budzowski's 178 horsemen were part of the main rally which carried out the decisive battle for the victory of the crown army. One of Budzowski's subordinates in this campaign was future chronicler Marcin Bielski. Bibliography
