Sporting and Sports Association "Sagittarius"
Strzelec Sports and Gymnastics Association (also known as "Sagittarius" or "Sagittarius") is a Polish, legal paramilitary organization founded by Eugeniusz Kiernik at the end of 1910 in Cracow. The Austrian authorities officially legalized the organization on 1 December 1910.
The field teams of the "Sagittarius" Association were the circles that were trying to establish in towns where there were a minimum of eight members of the organization. Despite the efforts, the Strzelec Company had a limited number of wheels and was a local organization.
The highest authority in the organization was the General Assembly, which was attended by the delegates of individual circles. The General Board convened the General Meeting once a year. approval of the organization's budget, settlement of the current Management Board's activity and selection of the new Board, the Company's Court and the Audit Committee. The current management of the Society was occupied by the Main Board, headed by the President. From 1911 to the dissolution of the organization in 1914 Włodzimierz Tetmajer, deputy to the Austro-Hungarian Parliament, was elected to this function.
