John Levene

John Anthony Woods, better known as John Levene (born December 24, 1941 in Salisbury) - British film and television actor.

He is best known for his role as Sergeant John Benton in the British science-fiction TV series entitled Doctor Who. He played this role in 1968-1975. In the years 1967-1968 he additionally appeared in the series as Cyberman and Yeti. In total, Levene appeared in over 70 episodes of this series. In 1987, he returned to the role of Sergeant Benton in a film released directly on the video entitled Wartime. Later, Levene also appeared in Big Finish's drama related to Doctor Who, where he also starred in Sergeant Benton.

Levene appeared in such films as Operation Zeppelin (1971), Ciemne miejsca (1973) and Spirala śmierci (1973).
