Pawel Lazarus


Pawel Jewgienjewicz Lazarus (Russian: Павел Евгеньевич Лазимир, born January 21, 1891 in Rewlu, died June 20, 1920 in Kremenchug) was a Russian revolutionary, chairman of the Petrograd Revolutionary Army (1917).

During the First World War he served in the Russian army, a member of the SS party, 1917 member of the Executive Committee of the Petrograd Council. From 25 October to 18 December 1917, Chairman of the Petrograd Revolutionary Committee, from November 9 to 23, 1917, Member of the People's Commissariat of the Russian Soviet Republic for military maritime affairs, from December 1917 to 1918 Member of the Left Party of the Eserers, then RKP (b). From November 30, 1917, a member of the NKVD College RFSRR, later a member of the College of People's Commissar for Military Affairs of the RFSRR, from October 9th to 27th, 1918, a member of the South Front Revolutionary Military Council, then head of the South Front Supply Board.
