Andre Pollehn
Andre Pollehn (born 3 May 1969) is a German slugger.
Two-time medalist of the individual German championships: silver (Norden 1989) and bronze (Neustadt an der Donau 1990), as well as bronze medalist of individual German championships (1994). Member of the semi-final of the continental individual world championships (Žarnovica 1990 - X place), semi-finals of the world championships (Norden 1992 - 5th place) as well as the final of the World Team Championships (Brokstedt 1994 - 6th place).
The greatest success was in the Individual Cycle World Championship on the long track, between 1989 and 2002, five times in the finals of this competition. He achieved great success in 1994 in Mariánské Lázně, where he won the title of vice-president of the world.
He twice competed in the finals of the individual European Championship on a grass track (Schwarme 1998 - VIIth, Noordwolde 2001 - IX place).
He started in the British league, in the colors of the clubs of Ipswich, Long Eaton and Middlesbrough. Bibliography
