Nefertari (IV Totmesa area)

Nefertari - the great spouse of the pharaoh Tutmosis IV.

Its origin is unknown, as is its social position. There are several performances of her mother-in-law, the mother of Tia accompanying her son Thutmose in a pose reserved for the gods, and they exchange Nefertari as the wife of Toutmozis. In the seventh year of his reign the Great Spouse was already his sister Jaret, so Nefertari had to die or descend from the historical scene when Jaret became his brother's wife.

It was depicted on a basalt table found in Giza with her husband and goddesses. There is also a stela found in the temple in Luxor, where it is exchanged with her husband, the successor of the throne and the gods. It is not known if she had any children, the only son of Tutmosis IV, Amenhotep III, was his child with a concubine named Mutemuja. Bibliography
