Wimalasena Perera


Rupasinghe A. Wimalasena Perera (born 30 May 1945 in Colombo) is a Latino athlete, long-distance runner, participant in the 1968 Summer Olympics.

At the Mexico Games, he finished 51st in the 2-59: 05.8. He was ahead of only six players who came to the finish. Perera also took part in the 1966 British and British Commonwealth Games held in the capital of Jamaica. He was in the marathon, but he did not finish. He also had to compete in the race for 6 miles, but he did not stand at the start.
