The Orientalist Youth Circle


Orientalist Youth Circle (in principle: Orjentalist Youth Circle) - a youth international organization that promotes Promethean ideas. It was founded at the Eastern Institute in Warsaw in 1928. Branches have been created in Krakow, Vilnius, Lvov, Poznan and Manchuria Harbin. Since 1930 O. K. M. has its own press organ: "East" quarterly. The most famous activists were Wlodzimierz Bączkowski and Jerzy Giedroyc. In the area of ​​interests of members and associates circle was located USSR but also Japan, India, China or Arabia. In 1931 a meeting with the former President of the National Assembly of the Crimean Republic was held at the Orjentalist Circle of Youth, by Jafar Saydamet. On May 25, 1931, a recent guest wrote a short letter to the editorial board of O. K. M.
