Navy Academy (USSR)

In 1922, the Academy was taken over by the Red Fleet and created the Red Army Navy Robotics and Peasants' Academy, which in 1931 received the name of Voroshilov.
In 1945, on the basis of engineering and technical faculties, the Naval Academy of Naval and Armament Engineering was established. In 1960 the two academies were merged.
In 1976 the academy received the name of the march. A. Grieczki and in 1990 - adm. Kuznetsov. After the collapse of the Soviet Union on the basis of the academy, in the building at ul. In the years 1938 - 1940 according to the design of A. Wasiljew and A. Romanowski, the Naval Military Research and Training Center "Navy Academy of the Soviet Union NG Kuzniecowa" (with several branches in different cities) was located. Russian Federation.
