Barborinský potok

Barborinský potok - a stream in the western part of the Low Tatras in Slovakia. It is a right-bank tributary of the Korytnica. The whole of its catchment is located within the town of Liptovská Osada.

Barborinský potok has several source watercourses flowing in gullies on the south-western slopes of the Prašivá ridge (1652 m) and at the Hiadelská sedlo (Hiadeľské sedlo). One of the sources supplying the stream in the upper part of its course is Janošikov prameň. The stream flows towards the north-western bottom of the Barboriná valley. At an altitude of about 770 m, at the foot of three peaks, it flows into Korytnica. The place of its estuary is the boundary between three mountain ranges - each of the three peaks rising above it belongs to a different band:

The Barborinski Potok drainage basin is located within Starohorskie Wierchów and Niżne Tatry. The stream's basin separates these two mountain ranges in this section.

The valley of the stream is partly overgrown with forest and partly grassy. A 110 kV high voltage line was led through it. View from the Prašivá ridge to the Barborinski stream and around
