Aleksander Sęk
Aleksander Sęk (born 1957 in Turku) is a Polish physicist and professor. Curriculum vitae
He graduated from the University. Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań in 1981 and began work at the local Academy of Acoustics. Ph.D. The problem of perception of random amplitude and frequency changes in the process of modulating acoustic signal was defended in 1990 (the promoter was Prof. Edward Ozimek). In 1996 he habilitated on the basis of the study of the functioning of the hearing system based on the detection of modulated signals (reviewer - Prof. Ryszard Tadeusiewicz). January 13, 2009 he received the title of professor of physical sciences.
It deals with acoustics and psychoacoustics, the development of hearing aids and cochlear implants.
He was a promoter of 4 and a reviewer of 5 doctoral dissertations. Bibliography
