Gervase Markham


Gervase Markham (born 1978) is a British blogger and programmer working for the Mozilla Foundation, the main developer of Bugzilla. His work on the Mozilla project began in 1999, in 2001, just after graduating from the University of Oxford he became a full time employee of the Mozilla Foundation.

In 2006, he won the Google-O'Reilly Open Source Award for Best Community Activist. He repeatedly presented the Bugzilla project and the Mozilla Foundation's activities at FOSDEM conferences.

Markham is a newborn, since 2001 he is in the process of treating rare salivary carcinoma (adenocarcinoma).

He is opposed to single males.
