He graduated from high school, worked on railways, from 1920 he worked at Moscow Air Plant No. 1 as a laborer, foreman, head of the workshop, and finally the director. He graduated from the evening technical school and the Evening Institute of Mechanical Engineering, and in 1936 together with a group of specialists he was delegated to the US for the first time to become acquainted with aviation production. In 1940 he was appointed deputy of the People's Commissar of the USSR aviation industry. After the German attack on the USSR, he managed the evacuation of aircraft to the east and dealt with serial production of aircraft for the front, on August 19, 1944 he was made major general of engineering and air service, 1946-1950 was director of aircraft factory no. 30, later director of the Znamia Truda factory from the merger of factories No. 30 and No. 381.
