Kubuś's Friends of Nature (program logo)

Kubuś's Friends of Nature - is an educational program on ecology for children in kindergartens throughout Poland.

To date, over three million children have participated in the program since the beginning of the program.

The program is organized by the Kubuś brand (belonging to the Maspex company).

As part of the program, kindergartens receive free teaching materials for children and teachers with lesson plans, games and educational games.

Children who participate in the program learn about the principles of caring for the environment, active rest and healthy eating. They learn to segregate waste, choose the best forms of movement and recognize the benefits that come from using a healthy diet, eating 5 portions of vegetables, fruit and juice or taking care of a second breakfast.

The initiator of the construction was Friedrich von Sydow, the local landowner. The channel was taken from the southern branch of Ostrowiec Lake, which is called Głuchego, to the south, a deep-cut ravine, along the right bank of Płociczna, to Rybakówka (fish ponds).
