Kenta Gallagher
Kenta Gallagher (born June 22, 1992 in Sheffield) is a British mountain biking and cross country skier. Career
Kendall Gallagher's first career success came in 2010, when he won the junior bronze medal at the UK championship in cross-country cycling. One year later in the U-23 category was the second in cross-country cycling and the best in mountain biking. At the 2009 MTB World Championships in Canterbury and the Champa World Championships in 2011, he was in ninth place in the relay race, and in the European Championship in Bern was fifth in the cross-country eliminator. Also on 24 May 2013 in the Czech Nový Měscie for the first time in his career he was on the podium of World Cup mountain biking. He stood there on the highest podium level in the eliminator, ahead of two Germans: Christian Pfäffle and Simon Gegenheimer. He did not participate in the Olympic Games.
Gallagher is of English-Japanese origin, his father is an Englishman and a Japanese mother. Bibliography
