Lieve Wierinck (born 3 July 1957 in Leuven) is a Belgian and Flemish politician and self-government activist, Member of the House of Representatives, Member of the European Parliament for the eighth term. Curriculum vitae

From the education of a pharmacist, she worked in this profession. She was involved in political activities within the Flemish Liberal and Democrat (Open VLD). Elected as a town councilor in Zaventem, he was also a member of the city council and chairman of the local OCMW (social welfare office). In 2011 she became a member of the House of Representatives in place of Guy Vanhengel, sitting in this room until 2014.

In the 2014 elections she ran for the European Parliament. The mandate of the VIII term of office of the MEP was taken in 2016, when Philippe De Backer went to work in the Belgian government. In the EP, he joined the faction of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
