Stefan Jędryszczak's grave at the military cemetery in Powazki in Warsaw Stefan Jędryszczak (born 3 August 1922 in Poręba near Zawiercia, died 31 August 1975) - First secretary of the Provincial Committee (KW) PZPR in Łódź (1960-1969), member of the Central Committee (KC) PZPR (since 1968) ), deputy to the Sejm of the People's Republic of Poland III, IV and V (1961-1972).

In 1936 he graduated from elementary school and became a former teacher. On 1 March 1945 he joined the PPR. He was the secretary of the PPR Committee in Poręba. Since 1945 he founded the Metalworkers' Union in Zakłady Poręba as the secretary of the Central Branch of the Union in Zawiercie. Chairman of the District Council of Trade Unions (RZZ) in Zawiercie. Since December 1946 a member of the District Committee (KP) and the PPR Executive in Zawiercie. X 1948-1949 on the course at the Central Party School of them. In March he became the second secretary of the PPR in Będzin. 1950-1952 First secretary of the Polish United Workers' Party in Czestochowa, 1952-1954 Secretary of the KW PZPR organization in Rzeszow. 1954-1958 a student of the Higher School of Social Sciences at the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers 'Party, then to 1960 he was the organizational secretary of the Polish United Workers' Party in Wrocław, and 1960-1969 and the secretary of the KW PZPR in Łódź. 1965-1969 Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the FJN in Lodz. From 1 January 1969 the President of the Central Agricultural Co-operative Producers Association. From 1969 to 1973 he studied at the Faculty of Economics and Agriculture of the WULS-SGGW in Warsaw. From January 1, 1972 deputy chief of the PZU. Delegate for the II, III, IV and V Congress of the PZPR. At the IV Congress, elected deputy member, and at the 5th Congress a member of the Central Committee of the PZPR. 1961-1972 was a deputy to the Sejm of the Polish People's Republic.
