Anna Memorata (born 1612/1615 in Łożebnica, died around 1645) - Polish poet of Czech origin, creating Latin poems, signing them as Virgo Polona ("Polish virgin").
She gained her education at the gymnasium in Leszno, a school run by Jan Amos Komensky. Thanks to that she knew, among others Greek, Latin, rhetoric. Her father, Andrzej Jakub Memoratus, pastor of the Czech brothers and philosopher, took care of her education.
She wrote occasional poems and panegyrics. Contemporaries appreciated her talent - to the admirers of her work belonged, among others Christian Teodor Schosser or the Lutheran theologian Johann Hermann.
