Mattias Bylund
Mattias Bylund (born March 30, 1974 in Bollnas) - Swedish ski jumper. Participant of the Seniors World Championships (1999), medalist of the national championships.
In 1999 he took part in the world championship of seniors. In an individual competition on the normal hill, after a jump of 70.5 meters, he took the 67th place, on the large hill he placed 64th position (67 meters), and in the team competition on the large hill, together with the representation of Sweden, he took 11th. place (Bylund obtained distances 64,5 and 68 meters).
In his career he twice competed in the World Cup (in both cases in Falun) - on March 13, 1997, in his only start in the main competition, after a jump on the distance of 68.5 meters, he took the 58th position in the group of 63 jumpers , overtaking, among others, Sven Hannawald and Espen Bredesen. In his second start in PŚ, 11 March 1999, he was eliminated in qualifying.
In 1996-2001 he appeared in more than 20 Continental Cup competitions, however, he scored only points once - on March 21, 1999 in Hede he finished in the 28th place. The 3 points scored at that time allowed him to take the 286th position in the general classification of the Continental Cup in the 1998/1999 season.
In February 1999 at the facility in Bollnäs he became the runner up of Sweden in an individual competition on the normal hill, losing to Kristoffer Jåfs a difference of 31 points.
