Eurydice to Orpheus (from Leighton's picture) (Eurydice to Orpheus.) - poem by English poet Robert Browning, published in the volume Dramatis Personae in 1864. The work is an impression of the poet on the image of Frederic Leighton Orpheus and Eurydice . Juliusz Żuławski translated the piece into Polish. But give them me, the mouth, the eyes, the brow! Let them once more absorb me! One look now Will lap me round for ever, not to pass Out of its light, though darkness lie beyond: Hold me but safe again within the bond Of one immortal look!
