Cross-tailed ligament muscles
Musculus sacrocaudalis dorsalis lateralis (Latin: musculus sacrocaudalis dorsalis lateralis) - muscle found in mammals.
Longitudinal muscles of the tail. Multiple segments are built. It produces a number of small tendons, reaching the lateral surfaces of the other caudal vertebrae. Adheres laterally to the medial dorsal-thalamus.
In an anthill, this muscle is irregularly arranged.
The rabbit is large and has a pronounced belly. It does not exceed half the length of the tail, but its tendon fibers reach almost the end of the tail.
In a dog (predatory) it is the longest muscle extension.
In horses and ruminants, this muscle starts on the lateral surface of the cross bone.
