President Alvear Asunción

Club Presidente Alvear - Paraguayan football club based in Asuncion. Presidente Alvear was first promoted to the top league in 1929. In the 1930 season, the club finished in the penultimate, 13th. In the 1935 season the first edition of the Paraguayan league was played. Presidente Alvear was excluded from the league, as did other clubs that did not have a stadium in the administrative district of Asunción. Presidente Alvear has never been able to return to the top league of Paraguay.
