(4817) Gliba


(4817) Gliba - asteroid from the main asteroid belt circling the Sun in 3.60 years at an average distance of 2.35 au. It was discovered by Henri Debehogne on February 27, 1984 at the European Southern Observatory. The asteroid was named after George Gliby (born 1948), the founder of the local astronomical association Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society, an employee of the Space Flight Center named after Robert H. Goddard, an observer of meteors and comets, and a telescope constructor. Bibliography
