Vladimir Trubieckoj
Vladimir Jurjewicz Trubieckoj, Russian Владимир Юрьевич Трубецкой (born July 30, 1894 in Bobruisk, died March 15, 1973 in Pforzheim) is a Russian military emigre activist, actor and theater director, soldier of the Russian Liberation Army. World War II
He came from the prince's family. He completed the sea corps, and then the Corps of Pazia. He participated in the First World War. In 1918 he joined the White Army Gen. Anthony I. Denikin. In mid-November 1920, with the remaining troops, he was evacuated from Crimea to Gallipoli. He emigrated to France. He worked in the Russian Chauffeur Association in Paris. He founded a private theater where he starred as an actor. He directed performances in Russian Opera. After the German invasion of the USSR on June 22, 1941, he joined the Russian Liberation Army (Gen. Andrey A. Vlasov). At the end of the war he stayed in western Germany. He worked in the Association of Russian Nobility. In 1952, he became the plenipotentiary of the Council of the Association of Russian Nobility in Germany. From 1954 he worked at the Pforzheim factory. He collected a library of Russian translation books.
