The Duke of Gandia - drama by English poet Algernon Charles Swinburne, published in 1908 in London by the Chatto & amp; Windus. It is an unfinished work. It was written in a white verse (blank verse), i.e. an unmarked iambic pentameter. The action takes place at the end of the fifteenth century, from June 17 to July 22, 1497, in Rome. The heroes are, among others, Pope Alexander VI, the title Prince Gandia Francesco Borgia, Cezar Borgia and Lukrecja Borgia. Bibliography
