Robert Hall (born March 2, 1764 in Arnesby, Leicestershire, February 21, 1831 in Bristol) - English theologian, writer, preacher, Baptist minister. Curriculum vitae

He was a student at King's College in Aberdeen. He took up studies at the University of Aberdeen. From 1790 he studied at the University of Cambridge.

He wrote the first publications on political topics. In 1791 he wrote a work entitled Christianity consistent with the love of freedom in defense of Protestant dissidents who were politically attacked by John Clayton. Other publications he wrote at the University of Cambridge: Betrayal (1801), Reflections on War (1802), The moods relevant to the current crisis (1803). His writings (including texts of sermons) were published in one volume, which appeared in 1819.

In the city of Leicester there is a monument of Robert Hall made by the sculptor Jan Filip Birna and the church bearing his name Robert Hall Memorial Baptist.
