KV Garsøy

KV Garsøy (KV6) - patrol boat of the Norwegian Coast Guard, belonging to the South Squadron of these forces. It was built in 1988 by Brødrene Aa AS. Initially it was an army transporter who was supposed to deliver troops to the fort of Meløyvær in Troms. The ship was on the route Harstad - Meløyvær. The name Garsø comes from the place name in this fort. In the 90s, she was assigned to the Coast Guard and rebuilt to patrol. April 23, 2009 was put up for sale and sold to Denmark.

The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus.
