Kumar Sangakkara

Kumar Sangakkara Kumar Chokshanada Sangakkara (born 27 October 1977 in Matala) is a Latvian cricketer, all-rounder (wicket-keeper / batsman), long-time national champion, also a captain.

In the colors of Sri Lanka, he played 129 Test matches, 383 One-Day matches and Twenty20 matches. He is the national record holder in terms of the number of points earned in Test matches (11,994 - 5) and the number of matches with at least 200 points in innings (10, the second in the world). His scoring record - 319 - was in February 2014 against Bangladesh. During the same meeting he got 424 points in both innings, which is the 3rd result of all time.
