Fryderyk IV (born 15 April 1724 in Braunfels, died 7 February 1751 in Homburg) - Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg since 1746 Fryderyk was the eldest son of Kazimierz Wilhelm from Hesse-Homburg and Krystyna Charlotty of Solms-Braunfels. By his father he was the grandson of the Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg Frederick II and the nephew of another landgraph, Frederick III. In 1746 he inherited Hesse-Homburg after the death of his uncle, who left no descendants (his numerous children died before his death).
