He completed 10 school classes, worked in the kolkhoz, and in 1942 he was incorporated into the Red Army as a military aviator fighting at Ile-2 in the composition of the 14th Air Force on the Western Front, the Leningrad Front and 3 Baltic Sea. In 1943 he became a member of the WKP (b), in 1945 he was demobilized, managed a rural reading room, in 1951 graduated from the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy in Almaty, worked as a foreman in a mining complex in the East Kazakhstan. In 1963 he became the director of the polymetallic composite in Leninogorsk, in 1973 the first deputy minister, and in 1974 the minister of metallurgy of the color of the Kazakh SRR. From January 1979 to March 1987 he was Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the SRR on General Affairs. He headed the scientific and technical collective in Moscow from 1987-1996, then retired. He was deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the SRR X and served on the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for the 10th and 11th tenure (1979-1989). On February 23, 1981 he became a member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (until 25 April 1989). He was buried in the Trojekurow Cemetery. Honors
