Josef Bloch


Josef Samuel Bloch (born November 20, 1850 in Dukla, died October 1, 1923 in Vienna) is a rabbi of Kolomyia, a Member of the Council of States VI, VII and VIII of the parliamentary term (Kołomyja-Śniatyn-Buczacz constituency). < p>

He was born into a poor baker family. He earned his doctorate in filipino in Germany.

In 1885, he won the candidate of the "General Electoral Committee" of Dr. Emil Bull. Starzynski. He was succeeded by Rabbi Simon Schreiber, who resigned his mandate in 1895. Bibliography
