Helena Walicka

Helena Walicka (born on May 30, 1935 in Raba Wyżna) - Polish worker, deputy to the Sejm of the PRL V term Curriculum vitae She has completed primary education. She was a foreman in the Nowotary Leather Industry Plant Podhale in Nowy Targ. In 1969, she was elected to the Sejm of the Polish People's Republic in the district of Nowy Sącz. Radosław Tyrała

Radosław Tyrała - doctor of sociology, assistant professor at the Department of General Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, chairman of the Cracow Branch of the Polish Sociological Association, author of research on non-believers. He graduated in master's in sociology and philosophy at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Teresa Mellerowicz-Gella

Teresa Mellerowicz-Gella (born in 1927 in Łomża), Polish painter and graphic artist, wife of Aleksandra Gelli. She studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. professional work Gella dealt with semiotics and the relationship between art and philosophy. She dealt with painting and graphics, including usable art, created, among others, posters, book illustrations, short films, designed sets and costumes. British Council scholarship holder in 1964. She lectured, among others contemporary art at the Faculty of Art History, University of Warsaw (1961-64) and at American universities. Milada Paulová

Milo Paulová (born November 2, 1891, died on January 17, 1970 in Prague) - a Czech historian, a Byzantine scholar. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Charles University in Prague. In 1935 she was appointed an associate professor. On October 28, 1939, she became the first female professor in the history of Czechoslovakia. Dona Branca (full title of Don Branca, ou A conquista to the Algarve, or Mrs. Branca, or conquest of the Algarve) - poem of the romantic Portuguese poet Almeida Garretta, published for the first time in Paris in 1826. The poem by Don Branca appeared a year after another work by the poet, entitled Camões and dedicated to the figure of the largest Portuguese epic. Both songs are patriotic. They set the initial date of Portuguese Romanticism, although according to some authors their romanticism is still incomplete and debatable. Don Branca's poem was based on a story found in an old, medieval chronicle. The action takes place during the wars with the Moors, which dominate the early history of Spain and Portugal. The poem is characterized by the presence of typically romantic motives, such as tragic love, kidnapping, good fairies, evil demons, ghosts and spells. Joan Lind

Joan Louise Lind (born September 26, 1952, died on August 28, 2015) - an American rower. Two-time Olympic medalist. She participated in two Olympic games (IO 76, IO 84), on both of them she won silver medals. In 1976, she took second place in the first, losing only to Christine Scheiblich from the GDR. In 1984, in the absence of athletes from parts of the Eastern Bloc, she was second in a double four with a helmsman, and the settlement was created by Lisa Rohde, Anne Marden, Ginny Gilder and Kelly Rickon. Solidarity Encyclopedia. Oposition in PRL 1976-1989 - collective work published since 2010. The initiator of the undertaking was the Generation Association. The encyclopedia is published in the so-called Dutch system. It is the largest compendium on the activities of the opposition in the People's Republic of Poland in 1976-1989.
