The Romance of the Dreamer - a poem by an English poet and lyricist Joseph Edwards Carpenter (1813-1885), published in the volume The Romance of the Dreamer and Other Poems, published in 1841. The work consists of four parts entitled The Italian Mother, The Baron, The Student and The Dreamer.
