Marek Olczyk


Marek Olczyk (born 10 August 1971) is a Polish volleyball player and volleyball coach, master of the Universiade (1991). Sports career

He started his sports career at the Polonia Swidnica club, where he has performed since 1986. In 1988 he moved to Chelmec Wałbrzych. From 1990-1992 he represented AZS Czestochowa, winning twice the vice-championship of Poland (1991, 1992). He then returned to Chełmec, where he played in the league (1992-1995), the "B" league (1995-1997) and again in 1997-1998. After another succession of Chełmca from the group "A" I leagues went to the BBQ elite BBTS Bielsko-Biała, with whom he played in the season 1998/1999. After the fall of this "A" and League team returned to Chelmec, where in 1999/2000 season in the "B" and League. In subsequent years he also performed in the lower classes - in Ikara Legnica and Juventus Wałbrzych.

In 1990 he played in the junior European Championships, occupying the tenth place with the team. With the representation of Polish seniors he won the 1991 Universiade championship. In the 2012/2013 season, he was a coach in the second division of the PWSZ Wałbrzych team, since 2013 he has been working with the Polish team of Polonia Świdnica. Bibliography
