Laugerie Low


Laugerie Low Laugerie-Basse is located near Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil in the French department of Dordogne. Archaeological site.

Among the findings from Laugerie-Basse is the so-called. "Shameless Venus", discovered in 1864 by the Marquis of Paul de Vibraye Magdalene figurine made of ivory, depicting a woman with exaggerated vulva. It was the first Palaeolithic Venus discovered in France.
