Jan Ciechanowiecki
Jan Ciechanowiecki of the Dabrowa coat of arms (m. 1593, d. 1636) - marshal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in May 1636, land judge from 1627, mstrislavian subdivision from 1616. At the end of 1636 he was probably nominated by the Viciebsk Governor. He died before taking office.
In the years 1611-1612 he served in the squadron associated with him hetman Chodkiewicz, and in the years 1617-1618 in the regimental commander Gosiewski during the Polish-Russian war. After the truce with Russia he moved for a year to the hussar regiment of Władysław.
Politically, he was associated with the faction of Lionel Sapieha, with whom he was also affiliated. From 1622 he served as the writer of the land of the Orskans. He was closely associated with the royal court and often performed various public functions, in 1626 he briefly became a Vitebskite, and the royal court was shortly before his death in 1636.
He was the son of Stanislaus and the unknown noblewoman Korczak. He married Aleksandra Kamieńska h. Ślepowron, with whom he had a son Stanisław and daughter Teofila. Bibliography
